Corporate culture
Economic realities, teamwork, need to perform, corporate culture, are as many elements of success for our future engineers.
The Advanced I.T. Course makes provision for assignments in enterprises, a key factor to successful training. As a rule, students get a training allowance for these work placements.
Thus EPSI students complete their studies after accumulating at least one year’s experience (3 months + 3 months + 6 months’assignment throughout the school years) the value of which is realised from their first job onwards.
The choice of the traineeship allows each student-trainee to personalize their technical added value, to become more efficient and keep abreast of the business world which they will enter once they have completed their studies.
Core computer engineering training
In order to prepare the students better for professional life, each of the first two academic years is to be followed by at least a three-month traineeship which takes the form of a report, part of which is written in English, and a viva.
Students are encouraged to undertake an overseas project and function in a
foreign language environment which gives them an opening into the international scene, which is indispensable for the careers of tomorrow.
Specialism and long-term assignment
The engineering students carry out a six-month secondment to industry at the end of which is a presentation (also in English), before a panel of examiners made up of teachers and practising engineers.
The work placement is of such length as to enable students to tackle subjects that are interesting and relevant to the company and the trainee (with a high percentage of probationary periods).
