Links with business
|
A reciprocal trust |
In order to foster its students’ integration into professional life EPSI furthers the closest links with firms, many of whose decision makers are former EPSI alumni.
It first achieves its aim through the GPNI, the National Association of Information Technology companies, which founded the School in 1961. As the National Institute of Computer Engineers, the GPNI can boast several hundred members throughout France.
Moreover, the School can ensure that its students find employment as many firms offer them short and long-term assignments. The latter have thus built up close links with the School which has become a natural channel for their recruitment.
Furthermore, EPSI allows a swift adjustment to the current and future requirements of the business world by means of collaboration of instructors from the business world and IT professionals (GPNI’s members and specialists from other computer service firms) and by means of privileged links with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry, in Paris and Arras.
AND FINALLY THROUGH THE COMPANIES SPONSORING GRADUATING STUDENTS SUCH AS : Dassault, Société Générale, Bull, Lyonnaise des Eaux, France Télécom, B.N.P., Cap Gémini, Sanofi-Aventis, Unilog, EADS, Crédit Agricole, Transiciel, Atos, Altran…
SPONSORSHIP
To take up the new IT challenges and be geared up for the careers of tomorrow, companies must avail themselves of the best for their activities. Sponsoring EPSI’s courses constitutes a genuine partnership over the years.
Thus, for firms, there is a focus on work placements, which offers the guaranty that the cream of the outgoing class will be singled out and they will enlist their collaboration on IT monitoring.
As for students, sponsorship represents a professional approach to the market, a way to bring their contribution to the emerging technologies and the recognition of their expertise and more particularly of their personal development.
This is why major institutions sponsor EPSI’s laureates : the Arras Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Regional Council of Languedoc-Roussillon, France Télécom, Société Généra le, BNP Paribas etc.
